I know I a bit (just a bit :P) late with this post but just couldn’t not do it!
So here are my absolute favs :
Listerine Pocket Mist
I loveee these!! I used to love those little mint films which was Listerine’s signature product back in the day but these beat that too! Just a little spritz of this and it hits you with a nice tiny bomb of mint and you feel so refreshed !! I love it and am sorta obsessed with it currently!!The green one(FreshBurst) is my fav but even the blue one(CoolMint) has been growing on me lately !
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 (for combination dry skin type)
I had been eyeing this toner for quite a while but ya it’s damn expensive and I,for one,was never into toners. But then I took a leap of faith and this product didn’t disappoint! I have been using this for about 2 months I think and its amazing! It gives a nice cooling feeling when used and does make my skin feel very very clean..I think it’s especially been useful for my forehead and neck and nape of the neck which are areas I ignore otherwise. It’s costly but goes a long way so it’s definitely a fav!
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
This serum, according to me, is the most top notch serum ever! I had heard such amazing things that I had to try it for myself and boy! Did I love it?! It’s amazing how it transformed my rather coarse but thin and dry fluffy hair(I know this sounds weird but I simply can’t describe my hair any other way:P) into a nice silky and sleek looking mane!I usually use it on soaking wet hair and it leaves a very subtle fragrance and makes me feel fresh and also leave the hair supersmooth and helps hair dry faster(I allow my hair to air dry naturally)So a big thumbs-up!!
Himalaya Active Fresh Mouthwash Saunf Mint
By now you must’ve understood that I’m obsessed with minty stuff and this mouthwash bottle is obviously empty coz I’ve used it up! Basically it’s this really subtle mint flavoured mouthwash which is alcohol-free and quite pleasant and definitely doesn’t burn your tongue loke quite a few other mouthwashes do. All in all did love this one!
Benefit the POREfessional Agent Zero Shine powder
As it’s forever hot in Mumbai and now more than ever and I have oily skin, this is the perfect product. Its a cute, tiny container of fine translucent powder with a tiny brush..and it is very compact and shuts securely so is good to carry around too.Lovee it!!
So these are my favs for the month. Let me know if you want full review on any individual product!!
Hey !! Finally starting with the reviews and this one’s a product I really like!
Frizz Ease has been around for a while and is quite well known and well loved and my experience was no exception. I totally loved it from the very first use. I’ve been using it for about a month now.
I have used it on both dry as well as wet hair.It works well both ways.It basically instructs you to use it on soaking wet hair, which I did and got seriously smoother less frizzy hair. But even with dry hair, the transformation was magical.Like literally you can see your hair turn from a haystack to a visibly smoother, shinier and more manageable mane.
Priced at around Rs.600-800 for 50 ML depending on where you get it from, it is probably costlier than the usual serums we use in India ..say Loreal products but it is definitely cheaper and does an equally good job if you compare it with TIGI products or the queen of serums, the Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell, which by the way I’ll be reviewing soon!!
So stay tuned!!
Hey guys!!Today I’m reviewing this nail polish called ‘Pink in the Park’ by Maybelline. It’s a gel nail polish and right now gel nails are all the rage!!So read on to find out how this one fared..
Price: Rs.325 for 10ml
About the product:
New Super Stay 7 Days is a gel nail colour that delivers seven days of flawless, chip free colour for the perfect at home manicure that lasts.
Why You’ll Love It
Gel resin formula for longwear.
Enriched with Calcium, Iron and Silica for strength.
Special full-fit brush to sweep on the perfect dose of colour.
For Best Results
1. Apply a clear base color to make your nail color last longer.
2. Use the curved brush to a thin layer of colour leaving a small space at the base of the nail.
3. Let dry before applying a second coat slightly thicker than the first coat.
4. Finish with a single layer of clear top coat to extend your manicure.
Packaging: It comes in a glass bottle with a white plastic cap.The packaging is sturdy and chic.👗
The USP of this product is the brush. It’s a unique brush with a curved end and it’s flat compared to regular brushes. This helps in distributing the color evenly on the nail and reaching the corners of the nails. All in all, with this brush, application becomes very easy! 😎😎
Consistency:The consistency, I feel,is slightly thinner than regular nail paints. It spreads evenly and dries pretty fast. But two coats are required for a proper opaque finish. With a single coat, the true color is not obtained.
Color:‘Pink in the Park’ is a beautiful baby pink color. It is very flattering and will suit all skin colors. It is suitable for regular days since it is not a loud color,as well as for a day out as it is very chic and girly! It doesn’t have any glitter but has a glossy finish.
Formula:It is a good formula and the 7 day claim is fulfilled by this nail polish. There is sligh fading of the shade and a bit of chipping from the very ends of the nails but it is not noticeable and this nail polish can really survive an entire week and maybe even more!💅💅💅
1.Long lasting formula
2.At home gel nails
1.Price is high compared to other Maybelline nail paints.
Yes or No?
Definitely yes!!It’s a quick and easy way to jazz up your nails and it lasts pretty long so you can just apply it and forget all about it until the next weekend!!😀😀
